Q: How long does it take to set-up the Interactive Members Portal?
A: Typically, less than an hour. You can upload a CSV file through our Bulk Upload to register your new members. It is then a simple process to build your collaborative areas. A one-hour training session is included in the set-up price.
Q: Can we keep our old domain name and email address?
A: Yes, you can use your existing domain name for your new intranet. You can also keep your email addresses as long as you can point your MX records to us.
Q: Can we continue to use our Microsoft Outlook for emails?
A: Yes, we have POP and IMAP integration which copies all your Outlook emails to your new web based solution and allows you to switch between your email systems.
Q: Can we customise our Interactive Members Portal?
A: Yes. You can have your name and logo on iPortal and customise your teams and how you would like to distribute information. We can also offer a more bespoke solution if you would like further customisation.
Q: What if our member base grows?
A: iPortal can scale to meet any growth requirements. You can continue to add more users individually or you can buy a larger package keeping your existing domain name and setup.
Q: Can we use it for our member groups who need to collaborate instead of as a full interactive portal?
A: Absolutely, many associations use iPortal as a project-based collaborative area to communicate from multiple locations and to store and work on documents remotely.
Q: Can we add the login page to our own portal?
A: Yes, please contact us at info@i-portal.co.uk or raise it during your training session and we will provide you with the necessary code.
Q: Do I need to download any software to run iPortal?
A: No. iPortal is a web based, fully hosted solution. All you need is a browser and an Internet connection.
Q: Is training required to use iPortal?
A: No. We pride ourselves on providing simple-to-use interfaces and applications. We do offer additional training if you require, prices can be found on the pricing and sign up page.

A: Your iPortal domain will automatically feature the most current version of the software, updated virus protection, the newest security processes, and new features. We are continually improving our solution based on our customer’s feedback.
